As the papers have been officially signed, ECIT is delighted to announce our move to a new headquarters. The Technopolis profile building, previously occupied by Accenture, will become ECIT’s new home in 2024.

That ECIT will have its own headquarters in a separate building undoubtedly marks a milestone in the company’s history. The profile building offers a total of 5,375 square meters, providing ECIT with significant space to grow.

The new premises, with its three floors, can accommodate up to 350 employees. This provides ideal conditions for expansion and recruitment in the future. The plan is to increase to 250 employees in the new building by 2024, with ambitions to fill the entire building in the years to come.

CEO Peter Lauring: “Fornebu is an excellent office location. It offers economic advantages and great facilities. The rent is more affordable than in central Oslo, and we have a flexible contract with the option to adapt our office space. Additionally, Technopolis provides meeting rooms, gyms, canteens, and more. Not to mention the natural beauty of the nearby fjord and green areas.”

There won’t be any major renovation of the new offices, especially since the building is only 10 years old. However, a large and wide internal staircase will be constructed through the building, connecting the employees across all three floors. This will facilitate better communication and collaboration, which is essential for a large corporation like ECIT.

Halvor Aspaas, ECIT’s MD for Tech Division & Consulting Division, has been instrumental in securing the agreement for the building:

“The next step on our exciting journey is now marked by our own profile building. This represents the ‘next level’ for us, enhancing our visibility in the market and confirming our position as a leading player. We’re establishing a ‘multi-competence centre’—or hubs, as we often call it—where we bring together expertise from various areas within the company. This unique approach allows us to offer customers interdisciplinary solutions that combine consulting, products, and services across our business domains.”
